Wow, I just realized it’s been a long time since I’ve blogged. I’ve had good intentions to get on here and blog but things are busy with an almost 2 year old! He doesn’t stop moving! But we are having fun trying to keep him busy but that means that I don’t get to sit and do as much as I used to do. Anyways, onto the top five things that have been going on this week.
1. On Sunday, we had our Gender Reveal party and totally shocked our family! We found out last Thursday that baby #2 is a girl. No one expected this, not even me. It took me a few days to get my head wrapped around this idea. It was a good thing I had a party to plan to help keep me busy and give me time to process. We are more than happy and excited however everyone, except my dad and some extended family thought it was a boy.
2. If you follow me on Pinterest, you will have noticed A LOT of girly pins, headbands, bows, flowers, hats, you name it, I’ve pinned it. I’ve got a list of projects started and am ready to get moving on them! Now I just need to get some supplies 🙂
3. I got the crafting bug for the first time in what has felt like forever and made this little Forth of July bunting with Washi tape. I like how it turned out and it was fun to get into the summer spirit and get some crafting juices flowing again!
4. We pulled out the pool for Aston again and this time, it was so warm out he just jumped right in. I can tell when the weather has turned warm enough when this happens. He does not like being cold!
5. Yesterday, we took my father-in-law to the zoo for his birthday and had a nice morning at the zoo with each other. This little monkey is a big goof.
