One of the projects we did for Craft Night was this Frosted Glass Vase or Candle holder. I’ve used it for both purposes and I think it looks great both ways!
What you need:
Glass Vase (I got our’s from the Dollar Tree)
Painters Tape
Wax paper
Frosted Glass Spray-paint (I used Rust-Oleum)
Circle punch
1. Wash and dry vase to get any dust or debris off the vase. I put mine in the dishwasher.
2. Stick a strip of tape to the wax paper, then using a circle punch or a scissor, cut out 10-15 circles. I used the wax paper because it helped to not stick to the inside of my punch.
4. Using some frosted glass spray paint, spray the outside of our vase (open side down). It took 3-4 coats of paint to get the effect I wanted.
5. Once the vase has dried (about 10-15 minutes) carefully remove the tape from the vase.
I paid a total of $6 for this vase. Wouldn’t this be a perfect gift for someone? And so many possibilities! Check out what the girls at my Craft Night came up with.
